Vision Boards, Accountability, and a Dash of Madness

"Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right." – Oprah Winfrey

I started the year with a moment of honest reflection and a big dose of gratitude. Last year handed me a plot twist I never saw coming, but I still showed up, walked through it, and ended on the right side of 365 days. That’s enough reason to be grateful. Now, I’m stepping into this year with measures in place to ensure I’m productive and I get the best out of myself.

You know, the “new year, new me” mantra? I think it’s mostly a myth. Honestly, I almost skipped the vision board this year because, let’s be real, last year ripped me off. I was drained, goals left unmet, dreams unclicked, and less than 10% of what I planned came to life. You only saw me once out of 365 days 😞😞.

So this year, it’s not about a “new me", it’s about rewriting my vision board with real processes in place, plus an accountability partner. (If work no waka carry am comot before we even start.)

I’ve missed writing. There are drafts gathering digital dust in my notes (I promise to do better, shaπŸ˜—) and I’m done letting them hide. Some will be fine‑tuned, others will be released raw. No more “someday.” I’m showing up even though I’m carrying scars from past attempts because progress isn’t perfection, it’s persistence

I’m trying this writing thing again despite past failures. I knock on the door with equal parts excitement and healthy fear. Who knows? Maybe this year I turn drafts into conversations, ideas into pages, and doubt into momentum.

So, here we are, heart in hand, process in place, and courage dialled up a notch.

From one of my favourite books from my shelf - Take excellent care of the front end of your day, and the rest of your day will pretty much take care of itself- Robin Sharma, The 5am Club.

If you don’t hear from me again, just know I tried. I clocked in for the ‘new year, new me’ shift... Relax, I’m jokingπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

Welcome on board. Let’s see where the journey takes us (well, me, but with you coming alongside with me abiπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘€), with more intention, more grit, and plenty of coffee.

Being a good sales representative

In selling you are almost entirely your own boss. You set your own rate of payand, like the captain of a ship at sea, you rely on your own judgment ability and intuition. There are many other things that go to make selling real fun. You meet the community’s most successful, most interesting and influential people. You are in constant touch with what’s going on in the world, and you are laying the foundation for success and increasingly bigger pay checks. no fire can burn,no flood destroy, no thief can steal a salesman’s stock in trade which is, as you know, the  confidence and friendship of his customers.

FRIENDSHIP

FRIENDSHIP To have this 10 letters word, it takes a life-time commitment and endurance to build, knowing well that people are made up of different background, mindset and opinions, you must learn to be blind to every little error for the sake of this word that can never be quantified PEACE, not forgetting you need to be happy before you can make others happy. Learn to master your strength and weaknesses, build prospect that attract valuable people to you. Everyone can’t be like you or think as you do, accept one for their mistakes and errors. Have a circle of friends that would build a lifetime with you though not everyone is worth building a lifetime with, so know who helps you to grow. Have friends that you can always rest on their shoulders and climb on their feet’s to move forward. At a point, everyone gets busy but shouldn’t be the excuse for you not to grow, true you might get bothered about your life but your race is not their race and your future is not their future, do...

What is your drive.

WHAT IS YOUR DRIVE . Motivation comes in all shapes and sizes, it is limited only by your imagination. Motivation is driven by personality, skills, expectations etc…. Your drive is the starting point of motivation, it helps you focus and channel resources to what is to be aimed. Your drive might be the opposite of what is expected of you by the society, but if you can master your motivation, you can deal with life's setback. One core values of your drive is learning and growth, most times when you feel good, you find your motivation faster, another school of thought says it is your problem that becomes your stepping stone to finding your drive but this can't be excluded that it might end up bringing a wrong drive, it depends on what works for you and your personally. Action often flows  immediately after motivation, link your feeling to what makes you good and think straight. The internal bar becomes the drive, impress yourself . Learn to be harsh at yourself because...
