Journey

Journey.

I'm on a journey,
I have somewhere to go,
I must be running,
 where I am going I don't know,
I must travel this road,
Burn all candles and thrive,
Through rain, fire, storm, cold.
I would never say NO.

I'm on a journey of discovery,
It is a lonely road,
But I am up to it,
You find me in my destiny,
I give all to win all to get my dream.

Against the current, I will take every stroke, in hardship, pain, burden, loss and hurt,
It is a puzzle,
And whoever I find or meet must fit in the puzzle,
I'll not struggle to fit in another puzzle.

Too late to quit,
I have burnt all bridges,
I won't stop till I reach my home,
One more puzzle, battle, hindrance to cross,
I have faith and my faith will take me home...

I'm on a journey of self-discovery,
It is a lonely road,
I'll make up to it,
You'll meet me in my destiny,
I will give it all to meet my dreams...

  5. Hmm....life is the journey
    It would be hard
    It would be discouraging
    It would be unfair
    It would be lonely

But we have to keep running
The energy that drives us has to keep burning

Here’s to the next chapter. πŸ₯‚ Dusting the cobwebs off this blogπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ For as long as I can remember, I knew I would write, but whenever I think about writing on this special day, my heart skips a beat. This past year, I circled the sun, With changes I had not foreseen. I faced the depths, the heights, the core— Tears flowed freely, joy took flight, Sorrow and laughter both took light. I leapt forward in the fog's embrace, With no clear map, I found my place. Though shadows lingered, steps unsure, I'm grateful now, I stand secure.   I leaned on love, my anchor strong, My father's bond is where I belong. My family held me, firm and true, Their love, my guide, through skies so blue.   Enimoney, my forever woman, beside me, stayed, Through darkest nights, we never swayed. In growth and love, we've far surpassed, A bond so deep, forever to last. And to my "forever wanna be Gen Z, " You led me and kept me on my beam. Best girls and mentors, near and true...

Monday Rush

I'm sure I'm not the only one who detests Mondays, the start of a long work week with no breather in between, especially when there is no public holiday in between the week. The sensation that it's MONDAY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! How can I work for 5 days and rest for only 2 days, officially 1 day, God helps you, you have that day to yourself without anyone or anything to carry you out. The hurried rush on Mondays is the absolute opposite of a peaceful Sunday morning, and the contrast might be startling if you're still jet-lagged from the weekend. Monday, the second day of the week, but technically, the first day of the week, has this rugged nature. Traffic is always worse, the waits at bus stops are longer, everyone is rushing somewhere, and the entire mood appears panic-stricken. The sheer number of 'to-dos' and backlogs can be daunting, which is why Mondays can be more stressful than your typical work day, with hectic meetings packed in between from project catch-ups...

Missing the Big Picture

Lost in the details, the small and the near, I peer through the fog, but the path isn't clear. Blind to the vistas that stretch far and wide, I stumble along, with a narrow-eyed stride. The world is a puzzle, a maze to be solved, But I'm lost in the pieces, the details involved. I scrutinize every aspect, each fine-grained part, But miss the grand picture, the essence of art. Myopic and blinkered, I'm stuck in my view, My vision constrained, my perspective askew. The broader horizon eludes my small mind, As I fuss and I fret over things undefined. Oh, to see the big picture, the grand and the vast, To marvel at wonders too great to be grasped! To transcend the minutiae, the petty and small, And glimpse the whole landscape, the grandeur of all. But until then, I'll keep plodding along, Bent on the small things, the details so strong. I'll dream of the vistas I've yet to behold, And hope for the day when my eyes will unfold. Sometimes we get lost in the details, F...
